1) Who are YOU? (Your DAI Major Study/Emphasis/Concentration; Interests; etc…)

2) What Inspires/”WOWs” YOU? (provide and “inspirational” Quote)
"The way we get to live forever is through memories stored in hearts and souls of those whose lives we touch. That's our soul print. It's out comfort, our emotional nourishment at the end of the day and the end of a life. How wonderful that they are called up at will and savored randomly. It seems to me we should spend our lives in a conscious state of creating these meaningful moments that live on. Memories matter." -Leeza Gibbons
As design is something I love to do, its something I believe my way to provide some kind of memory the consumers and the audiences will need to keep in their mind. It will keep them thinking about whatever the object or theme and how it is impacting them psychologically and physically.
3) Who, or What are your influences?
Main influences are my family and close friends, they've been with me since day one I started my life as an individual living life as independent character. Due to the fact that my family background is Filipino, the culture and its traditions we have done every year creates who I am and what I do as a designer, individual and as a female.
4) What is your Vision or HOPE in your life(time)? (academically; professionally; and/or socially)
I hope that one day I'd influence future designers and students to become what they want to be without having to put any limitations from other peers as they should have their own morals and values. This also hopefully applies to my cousins, nieces and nephews who are still in school and barely starting out their lives in higher education getting degrees. Make me proud!
5) Post an Image(s) that Best represents YOU and/or Your Vision(s)
6) Provide Six (6) “Key Words” that best describe YOU
Six words that best describes me: (1). Loud (2). Opinionated (3). Dedicated (4). Funny (5). Driven (6). Kind
I like that you mention how it's necessary to leave an impression on the consumer and audiences, it's important to keep people thinking about the stuff they're buying and what we're making. I also feel you in influencing my cousins, nieces, and nephews to pursue college too!
ReplyDeleteHey Alta,
ReplyDeleteI like your blog and the inspirational quote that you put in it. I also have a big interest in "sleep" as well as "coffee". You make a great role model for the youth seeking a higher education.
I agree with seeing how design influences the psychology of how audiences perceive graphics and art. It makes the person decide how they want to change their identity based on what sort of things inspire them the most. It's also cool that you say how your family's tradition and culture shapes who you are as a creative person; I feel that our family's histories is what directs us towards knowing who we are as artists and as individuals.
ReplyDeleteYour inspirational quote is indeed sweet and inspirational. I love that you are driven by your family and traditional background, I believe family is the most important in our lives.
